Diverse Interactive is looking for an Account Manager to become part of their growing team and support our business objectives. The successful candidate will have 4-5 years of Account Management experience.

You will be independently leading on projects but equally comfortable reporting to, and relaying information to Senior Team. Working closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts in a ‘pod’ structure to maximise efficiency, you will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of our projects.

This is a fast-paced environment that is both demanding and fulfilling. You will be responsible for the effective management and communication of all project stakeholders; you will give your projects direction and maintain a clear strategy to achieve the best outcome. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, and detail oriented, but who can maintain a wider project view.

Typical activities

  • The day-to-day management of clients

  • Pitching fresh and innovative ideas to clients

  • Regular communication and liaison with clients at a senior level

  • The central point of all stakeholder communication, using your knowledge and skills to proactively manage clients and the team

  • The organisation and communication of client feedback, briefing and leveraging internal teams in project delivery

  • Generating accurate reports and status notifications

  • Budget management and reconciliation

  • Working with the Project Managers in keeping projects on schedule

  • Cultivate new business opportunities within existing client base

Requirements

  • 4-5 years’ experience in professional client relationship management

  • A solid background in a creative or technical agency

  • Commercially minded with a proven track record of growing relationships with clients and cultivating business development opportunities

  • You will be expected to assist in presenting to clients, so a confident attitude is needed

  • A professional, persuasive and confident approach to creative projects

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - Not afraid to pick up the phone

  • Comfortable presenting new and forward-thinking ideas

  • A strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to the success of your projects

  • Methodical, organised and process driven with a keen eye for detail

  • Familiar with creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms

Salary – £35k - £40K

Mainly office-based but you will be required to attend off-site meetings and briefings from time to time. The role can be demanding, and self-motivation is required to thrive. Working hours will be standard office timings; however, demands of client deadlines can and will stretch this further.
